Sleep is something that we have to do. You may not think it is important to get as much as your body needs each night, but you are┬á hurting yourself if you are not paying attention to the cues your body is giving you. Everyone needs different amounts, and many things happen when we donÔÇÖt get that required sleep time. You may think you are okay, but you are not up to par and going on as well as you could if you were getting the right amount. If you are having trouble sleeping, there are some things you should know and some things that you should do.
You may think you are having trouble sleeping if you get just six hours a night. What you may not know is that if you are rested and alert, that may be all that your body needs. Some people can go on as little as three and donÔÇÖt need anymore, but most people need closer to┬á eight hours per night. Children are having trouble sleeping if they are not getting at least nine or ten hours a night before the age of ten. Babies need even more. Teens vary, but even they need eight or nine.
If you are still groggy when you wake up, you may be having trouble sleeping and you donÔÇÖt know it. If you are not sleeping well, your body will not go into the deeper stages of sleep that it needs each night. During these deep sleep stages, your body does repair from the previous day, and your brain files away what you have learned. You may not realize it, but all that goes into your mind during the day does not get filed away until you sleep. That means you wonÔÇÖt have things committed to memory like you could if you are having trouble sleeping.
Your problems may be stress, or perhaps a poor sleeping environment. A poor mattress can contribute to trouble sleeping, and so can extra light or even noise. Get dark drapes, a noise machine, and a good mattress to see if that helps when you have problems sleeping. You should also consider extra things in your bedroom. If you have a computer in there, you may not sleep thanks to it. It may remind you of work and you will have trouble sleeping. Remove anything not related to bedroom activities if you are having problems. That can really help.
Trouble sleeping can lead to health problems like Fibromyalgia, or diabetes or Obesity or rather those conditions can be the root of your troubles. They can also lead to a lack of coordination and memory problems. If you feel that you are always tired, are having problems remembering things as you should, and that you seem to be weak or sore all of the time, see your doctor. Tell him or her that you are having a lot of problems or trouble sleeping, and that perhaps it is something you want to look into.
always listen to your body, if you feel sleep and don’t get the right amount of full sleep sequence you are taking risks, specially if you doing things┬á that require cautious. many accidents had happened because of not havving enough sleep.
